We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a thriving secondary school in Sutton. This full-time, permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the SEN team, working alongside passionate professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy for students with SLCN.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to IEPs and annual reviews.
- Support a Specialist Resourced Provision for students with language disorders.
- Participate in outreach work with other schools, as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and HCPC.
- Holds a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy recognized by the RCSLT.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
- Experience working with parents, carers, and educational professionals.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting students’ welfare.
