We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Unqualified Teacher to join a dynamic Special School in Colchester. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to support students’ learning and development.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
- Plan and adapt lesson materials to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and the wider team.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging student participation and confidence.
- Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational or similar setting.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and differentiation strategies.
- Additional training or qualifications related to SEN or education.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
