Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in implementing individual learning plans (ILPs) and behavioural strategies.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging educational activities.
- Promote emotional regulation and social skills development.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Support students during educational visits and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with young people (preferably in an educational setting).
- Understanding of SEMH needs and behaviour management strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Desirable: GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- A positive and proactive approach to professional development.
