A vibrant secondary school in Rayleigh is seeking a talented individual to join their science department from September 2025. This permanent position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers a supportive environment ideal for Early Career Teachers as well as experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire and challenge students through practical learning and scientific enquiry.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum.
- Participate in department planning, CPD, and wider school initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Support extracurricular and enrichment opportunities in science.
Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS or expected QTS by September 2025.
- A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).
- Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced educators.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and student progress.
- Enthusiasm for science and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school life and team.
