Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and curiosity in the classroom.
- Use varied teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
- Assess and track student progress, offering clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
- Contribute to enrichment activities and whole-school events.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS or expected QTS by September 2025.
- A degree in a science-related subject.
- Open to ECTs and experienced teachers.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for science and a commitment to student development.
- Willingness to participate in school life and ongoing CPD.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education.
