Are you a recruiter with a self-starter mindset? Do you thrive in a sales-driven environment? Are you looking for an opportunity where your success is in your hands?
We prefer an experienced recruiter, but we’re also open to ambitious individuals looking to start a new career in recruitment. If you’re driven, resilient, and eager to learn, we’ll provide the guidance and support to help you succeed.
We offer uncapped earning potential, the freedom to build your own desk in either mainstream education or SEND, and the backing of a high-growth, specialist agency.
You’ll have complete autonomy to manage any geographical area and the flexibility to specialise in mainstream or SEND recruitment, depending on your expertise and ambitions. Whether your focus is on placing teachers, teaching assistants, leadership staff, or support roles, you’ll have the independence to shape your desk your way.
Our high-performance commission structure has no caps, and we reward success with a high achiever bonus and reduced working hours during school holidays. This role is perfect for a driven, competitive, and sales-focused recruiter ready to elevate their career.
While you'll be responsible for managing your own compliance requirements, our team will provide support when bandwidth allows, ensuring compliance never slows you down.
What Will You Do?
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging candidates to successful placements.
- Building and expanding your own client base by developing strong relationships with schools and education providers.
- Specialising in either mainstream education or SEND recruitment, with the option to expand into other verticals.
- Handling your own compliance requirements, ensuring all candidates meet safeguarding and regulatory standards, with team support available when needed.
- Driving business growth through client development, market mapping, and strategic recruitment planning.
- Managing your own desk with full control over your approach, sector focus, and geographical reach.
- Identifying opportunities in the market and acting on them to stay ahead of competitors.
- Implementing creative sourcing and attraction strategies to ensure a pipeline of top-quality candidates.
What Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in recruitment or strong sales/business development backgrounds (education recruitment experience is a plus but not essential).
- A self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven approach, with the ability to build a successful desk from the ground up.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to develop long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
- A resilient, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and client demands.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of your own desk, and drive your success.
- Confidence in handling compliance and ensuring all placements meet safeguarding requirements, with the ability to seek team support when needed.
- Experience using recruitment CRM systems and digital sourcing tools (desirable but not essential).
What We Can Offer You
- A competitive salary with commission to recognise your achievements.
- Reduced working hours during school holidays. Term time: 8:30 - 17:00 | School holidays: 9:00 - 14:30
- Annual leave is allocated during school holidays, ensuring work-life balance in line with the academic calendar. (Do not apply if this is not possible for you)
- Full autonomy to build your own desk, whether in mainstream education or SEND.
- Support with compliance when bandwidth allows, helping you maintain efficiency.
- A dedicated team environment that values performance and personal success.
- Ongoing professional development, training, and career progression opportunities.
- Regular team incentives, performance rewards, and social events.
