We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a supportive SEMH school in the Vauxhall area. This full-time, permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As an SEMH PE Teacher, you will be instrumental in promoting physical well-being, resilience, and positive attitudes towards health and fitness among students.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical education and committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. While prior experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and those new to the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards health and well-being.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all physical education activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
- Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support students effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
