We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Instructor to join a vibrant secondary school in the Southend area. This full-time position offers a temporary to permanent contract, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive educational environment. As a PE Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards health and well-being among students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to a diverse student body.
- Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and positive attitudes towards physical education.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all physical education activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
- Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Strong understanding of physical education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
