Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Promote curiosity, global awareness, and critical thinking through engaging teaching.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons to meet a range of needs.
- Participate in curriculum planning and subject enrichment activities.
- Support pastoral development and contribute to the wider school community.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the humanities faculty and beyond.
Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS or expected QTS by September 2025.
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.
- Passion for geography and student-centred learning.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing CPD and school life.
