Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Use innovative and inclusive teaching strategies to support all learners.
- Participate in the school’s ECT induction and mentoring programme.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting lessons as needed.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Support the ethos and values of the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree and PGCE (or equivalent).
- QTS or expected QTS by September 2025.
- No prior classroom experience required—enthusiasm and commitment are key.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- A growth mindset and a passion for professional learning.
- Dedication to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.
- A love for English and the desire to share that passion with students.
