We are looking for a Compliance and Office Administrator to join our Hadleigh-based recruitment team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, detail-driven position, ensuring that compliance and office administration are always up to standard. As part of our small but growing team, youβll play a vital role in keeping our recruitment operations efficient, compliant, and well-coordinated. This is a key support role within the business, ensuring that schools, candidates, and our internal team have everything they need to succeed.
What Will You Do?
- Managing compliance processes β ensuring all candidate records, DBS checks, right-to-work documentation, and references meet legal and safeguarding standards.
- Maintaining accurate data β keeping systems updated with the latest compliance records for audit purposes.
- Providing essential administrative support β assisting the recruitment team with job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes.
- Handling inbound communications β being the first point of contact for phone calls and emails, delivering a professional and friendly service.
- Organising office operations β ensuring supplies are stocked, documents are managed, and everything runs smoothly.
- Assisting with candidate onboarding β ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Supporting the team β working closely with recruitment consultants and leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What Are We Looking For?

- Experience in administration, compliance, or office support roles.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- IT and computer proficiency.
- A professional and customer-focused approach to work.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in recruitment or education (desirable but not essential).
