We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support & Outreach Support worker to join a specialist SEMH school in Southend-on-Sea. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to support students both within the school and in the wider community.
As part of this role, you will work closely with students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, providing tailored one-to-one support to help them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition to working within the school, you will engage with students in community settings, helping them build life skills, confidence, and independence. As such, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
This position is ideal for an individual who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference. While experience working with young people with SEMH needs is desirable, it is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
